We learned so much from attending the EPA Circular Economy Conference.
It was an honour to have 2GoCups CEO, Kevin Murphy, invited to speak at the EPA Circular Economy Conference on September 22nd.
The conference kicked off with an encouraging speech delivered by Minister for State; Ossian Smyth, followed by a well-structured sequence of presentations and panel discussions with representatives from a range of sectors, each delivering talks on their role and sustainable goals for the future. This led to an open Q&A allowing those present or online the opportunity to ask questions to those key individuals.
After a short coffee break, everyone joined to watch presentations given by five representatives highlighting what they and their businesses do to improve the circular economy. The list of speakers included; the CEO of 2 Good 2 Go, Jammie Crummie, the owner of Zero Waste Shop Barbara Honer, the Cheif Executive for Habitat, Jenny William, the CEO and founder of Jimny Toys, Sharon Keilthy, and of course our CEO and Founder Kevin Murphy. Once all presentations were finished the speakers joined on stage for a sit-down Q&A.
Overall, the conference was a great opportunity to learn and listen about the future of Ireland’s Circular Economy.
