Beach Clean with Tramore Eco Group
What a pleasure it was to be included in Tramore Eco Groups’ weekly Wednesday Beach Cleans.
The whole 2GoCup team took a trip to the oldest city in Ireland, Waterford, and spent the morning with long-time supporters of 2GoCup -Tramore Eco Group – to participate in a beach clean on the gorgeous Tramore coast.
It was great to meet the wonderful volunteers, learn from them, and help the environment all in one trip! The group knew so much about Tramores beach, its history and the best way to clean it – “lift up the seaweed.”
Following that, we had a productive meeting with Waterford City and County Council to discuss an upcoming and exciting partnership (more on that later!).
We then finished our time in Waterford by visiting two new members of the 2GoCup community – The unique Railway Cafe.
What a productive, exciting way to spend a Wednesday at work!
